Sports Bars

We will be in Lexington for the UT-KY game Thanksgiving weekend. We are diehard Terp fans but I daughter has become a Vol and is in the marching band. We would like to go to a sports bar after the game to catch the rest of the college football games. Any recommendations?

Also we are staying at Springhill Suites. Someone said that the stadium is in walking distance. Is this true? How far of a walk? Hilly or flat?

Thanks for any help.

You can walk from Springhill Suites, but it is not exactly close. Plan on about 2 miles. It is fairly flat. The only hill is the Virginia Ave bridge over the railroad. It still may be your best option to walk due to parking and traffic. I would plan on a 30 min walk.

There is a very good sports bar close to to your hotel. It is the Blue Line Diner. They have pretty good food and service and lots of flat screen TV's. If that does not work for you, BW3 is close by as well.

Trump's is also a good place to catch games. They usually have a good selection of gmaes playing with good appetizers and a cold beverage of choice. Enjoy your stay. GO UK!

Trumps closed recently. The Southland and Chevy Chase locations have closed.
