Mattress Run

We are thinking about buying a tempurpedic mattress but would like to slep on one first. Thought we might combine a fun trip to Lexington with our " test". What would be the best hotel or bed and breakfast to use for our trip? We tend not to stay at "cookie cutter" places but for our purposes here would go with comfort/cleanliness/ a little luxury would not hurt:)

You may want to verify this but I believe Gratz Park Inn has Tempurpedic mattresses. Here's a link to their site:

I think that quite a number of the hotels in Lexington have Tempurpedics, since the company HQ is there. I know the Courtyard by Marriott Lexington North has them, as I have stayed there a lot, but that is not a place that fits your criteria. They also have them at the Marriott Griffin Gate, which is a high-end Marriott resort near the Kentucky Horse Park:

The only non-chain hotel that I know that has them in the area is Shaker Village, which is in Harrodsburg: shakervillageky.org/the_inn_at_shaker_villag…
