Midweek hotel in Camden/Rockport/Thomaston

We need a place to stay July 7-10 somewhere on the coast between Thomaston & Camden (maybe as far up as Lincolnville). We want a king/queen with a private bath, ocean view at a 3-4 star property (hotel/inn/B&B). We won't be on-site too much but we still want a nice place to 'come home to' each night. Would love to hear any suggestions.

Thanks,

Valyn

As I have posted before go to

4 milesnorth of Camden is "The Victorian By The Sea"

a beautiful B&B overlooking Penobscot Bay.

The Samoset Resort in Rockport is very popular and fits what you're looking for. You can walk to the edge of the property and get onto the breakwater for a mile-long walk out to the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse. Kind of cool...

For a more quaint B&B experience with an ocean view, try Trinity on the Ocean in Owls Head. Their three rooms are named after local windjammers.
