Nice, but reasonly place to stay

We will be visiting in early September. Likely just staying 1 night, so it's just for a good night's sleep. We don't need fancy or on beach. Suggestions appreciated. Thank you!

Hopefully Its NOT labor day weekend since prices will be high and in most cases you will Not be able to get just a One night stay over that weekend, more like two are the minimum required.

If you book After labor day the rates will be on the way down. Your average rate will be in the area of 130 to 160 per night depending on where you stay plus Tax. During summer Months the average rate per night is in the 250 Plus a night, Ogunquit is a huge tourist destination.

There are many other hotels/motels that you can book in your price range if your not fussy about location or amenities, do your homework close to the time your coming and come back to the boards for more info.

Wells has plenty of places to stay usually a bit less expensive then Ogunquit.

The weekends will be more money then the weekdays.

I have stayed at the Yardarm Village Inn- which older is comfortable, affordable and usually has one night stays along with a simple breakfast and hot coffee in the morning.

Other choices are Moon Over Maine, SeaCastles Resort- shows low prices for that time of year -

sometimes not all of the smaller or older properties are listed on the big sites- you may even want to call the Ogunquit Chamber-

Riverside Motel in Ogunquit. Lafayette's Oceanfront Resort in Wells Beach. Both nice, modest, clean and reasonably priced.

I second the recommendation for Yardarm Village Inn. We stayed there several times before we moved to Ogunquit (granted that was over 10 years ago). It's quite charming. The rooms are lovely and comfortable and the light breakfast was perfect for us.

Thank you. The smaller places are where we like to stay. Likely ones that can't afford to advertise like the big places. We like small, cozy, and clean
