Perkin's Cove early May

Will be passing through around May 8th., and am wondering if most things will be open by then, or do most things open Memorial Day? I have been there over Columbus Day a couple of times, and was surprised to see most things open...shops, restaurants, etc.

Most things - shops, galleries, restaurants, will be open in Perkins Cove/Ogunquit on May 8. You'd probably be surprised how much is open year round. We spent Valentine's weekend kicking around Ogunquit with the kids (we live in York) and there were plenty of people, plenty of activities. But May is such a lovely time of year to be here! You can take a look at this site for more info:

Good luck and have fun!

Yes most things will be open around May . Its a great time to be here. Everyone is excited to start the new season and its not too busy and not long lines. The Marginal Way is so Beauitful at that time of year ( it's Beauitful every Month of the Year also ) Also check out our chamber page to see if anything is happen around the time you visit . Enjoy your visit to Ogunquit , " A beauitful Place By The Sea "
