Does anyone have any information and/or photos of any damage to the Ogunquit area from the recent storms.

Terrible beach /dune, damage

Did a quick search on Google and found more info that could possibly be posted.

Have a look. Also browse local online newspapers. Lots out there.

I don't have photos but I walked the beach last evening. Most of the fluffy sand is gone and there is a lot of dune erosion. in many places the wall of erosion is over 6ft high.

Pretty sad. Mother nature is powerful.

BUT Mother Nature tends to replenish herself over time.

This is not the first , nor the last.

Man can help to repair the damage.

Funny how multi-millions of dollars are spent on personal housing , but very little on beach rejuvenation when compared to such.
