Lobster Tail

Hey all, we are making our second visit to Ogunquit and will be spending more time there than we did on our first visit since we loved it so much! One thing we could not find was a restaurant that served just a lobster tail. Does anyone know of a place that serves just lobster tail?

Thanks!

When you buy a lobster tail its usually a frozen Rock Lobster tail and not from a fresh Maine Lobster. I do not believe you are going to find a Restaurant in the area that is going to serve just the tail, and if you do its probably not from a fresh Maine Lobster.

Lobster tail is on that (rip-off) Ogunquit Lobster Pound's menu ... which may explain a lot ...

Why is it that you want just the lobster tail? The sweetest most tender meat is in the claws. Is it because you don't want to do the work of a whole lobster? Look on the menu for "'lazyman's lobster" or something like that which is simply the meat of the lobster, without the work.

Thanks for the info! Yes it's for my husband...he LOVES lobster, but doesn't enjoy doing all of the work to get the meat everytime he wants to eat it. Thanks for the advice on the Lazy Man's Lobster!
