BYOB/Corkage is not common practice in ME. My understanding is that , while not illegal, this is a consequence of Maine/New england antiquated "Blue laws". Find restaurants you're interested in and call to inquire on corkage policy.

Miyake, a great sushi restaurant, is BYOB. For added convenience, there's a small shop next door that sells beer, wine and saki.

Harraseeket Lunch in Freeport allows BYOB but they are closed for the season.
