Casual places to eat

Will be traveling to Maine this month for a long weekend. We (6 adults and a 2.5 year old) are staying in the Saco-Biddeford area. Can you please provide suggestions for casual dining options for breakfast/lunch/dinner? Also, where are good places for lobster? Thanks

Your question is way too general, you'll have to do some legwork yourself.

You won't have any problems finding good lobster since it's all prepared and served pretty much the same way, so my advice is look for what the locals call a lobster pound or lobster dock. Usually eating out on a dock in the sun and on the water really adds to the eating experience.

Since you're bringing a toddler, try Pat's Pizza in the Old Port for a casual, inexpensive lunch or dinner.

Beckys Diner right on Commercial street is usually recommended, but it will also have wait time! Another option for quick bite for breakfast is Works Cafe & Bakery in Temple St closer to Arts district.

Are you looking for places in the Biddeford-Saco area? I am asking because you posted in the Portland forums and the answers so far are for Portland.

For breakfast in Biddeford there is All-Day Breakfast and in Saco there are a few options including Lucky Loggers and Skip's. Joseph's in Old Orchard offers a nice breakfast overlooking the beach.

For seafood, we like Huot's in the Camp Ellis part of Saco, but there are numerous options between there and the other end of Old Orchard Beach/Pine Point.
