Biking trails in Ocean city, rollerblading

I was wondering if there are any areas to go biking around Ocean City. Also is the boardwalk to busy for rollerblading and bilking. We like long bike rides 2-3 hours and also shorter one hour or less for the whole family.

In the summer, there are rules against rollerblading and biking on the boardwalk past a certain time in the morning. So it is for early morning only. Northside Park (around 130th) has a 1 mile loop for easy rollerblading, and there are always families biking there. At the north end of town on the bayside, you can find some little developments that have quiet streets for biking. (Not really an exotic destination, of course!) Assateague Island also has bike trails--this would be my first choice. There are two parts to the park, one a state park and one a national park, so check out both for information on bike trails. As you're biking, you'll be able to see the unique barrier island ecosystem and maybe some of the ponies.

there are also some bike trails in delaware, not THAT far from OC...

some in cape henlopen state park, & also there is a new one (can't remember what they call it!) that runs between route 1 & the beach....but there are entry points behind some of the outlet malls on the eastern side of the road.
