Chatham at the end of April

Hey there-

Heading to Chatham Wayside Inn for a wedding on the 25th. Have all day to spend in your lovely little town. Any suggestions as how to spend the day Sat before the evening wedding?

Hi there: Chatham is indeed lovely! Is the wedding at the Wayside?

You can peruse the great shops and galleries on Main St., take a walk to the Lighthouse Beach, have lunch at your hotel, or The Squire Pub and Restaurant or The Impudent Oyster. (all downtown and close by).

You might want to take a short drive on Shore Rd. to view the summer 'cottages' there and admire the view. If the wedding isn't taking place at Chatham Bars Inn, have a drink on the front porch and experience a bit of the "Grand Hotel" ambience.

You can continue to drive on Shore Rd. and make a quick stop at the Fish Pier. Continue onto to rte. 28, head up past Orleans and visit the National Seashore in Eastham. The Visitor Center is great and they have a really good gift shop (excellent books).

(Don't know if you golf but there's good golf to be had.)
