Inn on the Sound vs Captain's Manor Inn

We are looking to stay for 3 nights in July. Any feedback on these 2 properties as to where to stay? They both look amazing but one is on the beach and the other in town (I think). Is it easier to stay at one and walk drive to other as for parking etc as opposed to the other?

Thanks and looking forward to a first time trip to the area!

I only know Inn on the Sound which, as you say, is amazing. However why don't you check and just see which one is available. That might make the decision for you.

Both are amazing. Not quite within walking distance to each other, unless you enjoy longer walks.

Captains Manor is a short walk to the beach, and very close to all the shops, museums and restaurants of quaint Main Street Falmouth.

Inn on the Sound is roll out of bed onto the beach, walk to two or three restaurants and drive to town.

Both have wonderful breakfasts, and very high service standards, run by husband/wife teams who live on the premises. You can not go wrong, but good luck getting in! These gems sell out early.

Thanks for the info!

I did not realize that Captains Manor was walking distance to the beach!

Decision made...now need to decide dates and book!
