Boston trip

Planning a trip to Boston area in July. Would like to find a harbor front restaurant where we can watch the fishing vessels come in and unload their catch of the day. Willing to travel to southern Maine - about a 2-3 hour travel time one way - max. Any suggestions? Thanks

You've posted on the Gloucester forum. Gloucester is about a 45-60 minute drive from Boston (it's also accessible by train) and has a couple of restaurants right on the docks used by fishing boats. Here are links:

There are many other restaurants in the city as well as in other towns on Cape Ann. Lots of them have ocean views. Here are a few links to Cape Ann sites to help you plan:

If you haven't already done so, I'd suggest asking on the Maine forum about restaurants there. Hope you'll enjoy your visit!
