in October ?
Have you been before? Marblehead is a nice walking historic town. There are a few nice restaurants, the landing being. Old town will have some nice stirred which sell unusual small goods
Beautiful little upscale seafront town. Nice eateries. Not beach weather but Oct should be nice.
Sorry, nice stores
Marblehead is described well by others above. I'll add just a couple more points: By mid-October (or maybe earlier), there should be good foliage in the area, but although it is a seaside town, M'head is not particularly a tourist destination so it won't be crowded in October. However, the adjacent community of Salem celebrates Halloween for the month of October with its Haunted Happenings event. This brings big crowds to Salem on the weekends, Friday evenings, Columbus Day, and Halloween; traffic is heavy in and around Salem, and consequently it will be more difficult to travel to and from M'head on those days.
Agree with above posts. Is there anything more specific you would like to know?
Actually, I would amend my response if I knew what day in October. :)
Thanks for all your replies.
