Temporary Housing

Hello, We are a Dutch family relocating to the North Shore. (We resided in Marblehead 15 years ago.) We are returning to the States and looking for a quiet, safe little town. We have fallen in love with Rockport. The only problem appears to be that we have to have a legal address to enroll the children in school. We are not ready to buy anything until we know the area a bit better. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you, Holly

Why don't you see if you can rent a home for a while. This would be helpful in many respects and would alleviate a lot of the pressure you're putting on yourself.

A yearly lease will be good enough for proof of residence. You'll need that, and vehicle registration, to obtain beach and transfer station stickers too.
