Commuter rail - Boston to Worcester

I am looking at travelling to Worcester from Boston (and back) on the commuter rail. I was just looking for some advice on this as I will be travelling with a large backpack and a smaller backpack. Is this amount of luggage a problem?

As long as you can carry it on and off the train, it's not a problem.

Thank you.

I've read else where to avoid rush hour if travelling with luggage. Would you advise this? Or is it not really an issue with this line, I'll be looking travel in the morning.

You are reverse commuting so you should be ok. But be courteous, don't stand in the middle of the train with your pack on taking up an exorbitant amount of space, etc..
