Hotel near eastern market

Could someone tell me which hotels are near the eastern marker. We are going for the fall beer festival. Thanks.

Probably the Hilton Garden Inn, just about a mile away.

Greektown Casino Hotel and Atheneum would be nearly as close.

However, for something much more fun (in my opinion!) there are these places--

Closer-- http://goo.gl/maps/zOZ5r https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1009586

Or this, in the same area-- www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p176851

And just a tiny bit further-- http://goo.gl/maps/KWH03 https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1492444

There are a couple lofts right in the Eastern Market complex sometimes available via airbnb, but apparently they're already taken for that weekend.

The HGI and Greektown are both a 3/4 mile walk down Gratiot. Greektown puts you at a people mover stop, so that opens up the rest of the downtown hotels with a short ride.

Book ASAP since you may have a hard time, especially if you plan on arriving a day early. If the Tigers make the World Series, game 1 and 2 would be at Comerica Park on Wednesday and Thursday before the beer fest.

I really need to get down to that festival one of these years. Looks like Saturday is already sold out.
