Visiting mid September

We have always visited the island the 2nd week in August up until this year. We noticed the past few years the crowds of kids growing that week so decided to switch to September. Will it be dead that week? Less kids? Will it still be fun at the bars?

It's pretty slow, you will notice the employees are ready to go home so the vibe is a little less upbeat than visiting in the summer. Bars still seemed crowded last September.

We always go in mid September. Much more enjoyable to us, less crowds and stress. Isn't that what vacations are for?

The bars will still be good on the weekends.
