Hi - I have limited time in Nepal and want to do a short easy trek with scenic views and chose the Sarangkot Dhampus hike.
Some questions: Most tours go Phedi-Dhampus-Sarangkot-Pokhara.
Is it possible to do it the other way around? Pokhara-Sarangkot-Dhampus-Phedi? Any pros and cons?
The reason is this: Due to limited time, I am planning to fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara and then maybe look around the town for a bit then catch a taxi to Sarangkot. Stay overnight at Sarangkot then hike to Dhampus. Overnight and Dhampus then make way back to Pokhara and catch a flight back to Kathmandu on the same day.
If it's the other way around, I don't think I would be possible to fly into Pokhara and make way to Dhampus on the same day right?
Also is it better to make arrangements/hire porters guides etc in Pokhara, or Kathmandu.
