St Cyprien

hi all,

myself and my girlfriend re look at alteratives to the 'sun holiday' in the majorca and crete type places. I had see this little place before and am looking at it in more depth now.

The group are aged between 22-27, we not intot he mad patying seen but a chilled ight out and an option of discos would be a bonus.

All of the group enjoy the beach and water sports, i am aware there is a waterpark int he area. Is there more to do here during the day??

At nigt the group i am with rnjoys fine food and good conversations and laughs with a few bottlesof wine, as i said efore we enjoy going ou but are not into the mad party scene.

is this the place for a group of 5 couples in july/august??

What sort of prices are you chatting for 3 course meal (average), bottle owine, cup coffee and the like??

Many thanks

Yes, there is a water park called Aqualand as well as a very good horseback riding club.. a lovely and cool botanical garden worth a visit and a small casino....

Lots of restaurants around the harbor starting at around € 10/12 (without wine) for the menu du jour.

Saint Cyprien is located between Canet and Argeles.

Canet sports a huge disco area called La Luna with several night clubs. Argeles has quite a lot of discos too.

I would say that Sazint Cyprien is not as wild as Majorca........

Many thanks for the reply

Would you recommend Canet or Argeles over St Cyprien as an overall holiday base??

Er. shouldn't this be in the Languedoc/Roussillon forum?

Although there is also a St Cyprien in the Dordogne...

Good idea - I hope you know where you are going!

I've been to both and they are very different but both pleasant.
