Eating at MSP Airport

Will be arriving at MSP via Delta on a Saturday in August after a 3-hour incoming flight -- arriving early afternoon with a four-hour layover before an early evening Delta departure for another long-ish flight. From the looks of the schedule, we'll be in the air at our usual lunchtime, and back in the air at our usual dinnertime.

Given the amount of time we have at MSP, we're looking for suggestions for places in the airport, if there are any, that would be a good place for a leisurely, relaxing "big meal of the day."

Really don't care about going out through security and back in again unless that's our only realistic option...(have had less-than-good experiences trying that at other airports in the past).

Suggestions?

I third Ike's.

It's in the main concourse to the right, as if you had just walked thru security.

I like Ike's. Axel's is good too.

Ike's, Axel's or Rock Bottom are my picks. Syrdik's is fun too, but pretty casual.

Agree with the above. We have also had good meals at Wolfgang Puck and French Meadow Bakery and Cafe.

Enjoy your trip. It is a nice airport.

Wow -- the options are growing..... decision was easier when everyone was recommending Ike's.... But it's nice to hear that there are other options folks think are worthwhile, just in case we can't get into Ike's for some reason....

Thanks to everyone for all your help -- was last at MSP about 20 years ago, but still remember it as a place where workers, servers, and people in general are "good folk" -- looking forward to seeing it again ....even if only for a couple of hours... Thanks for making me feel good about our chances of finding a decent meal while we're there...
