Parking near MSP Airport?

We are looking for parking near MSP. Has anyone had recent experience with Park&Fly. EZ Airport or any others? A motel/hotel where we can leave the car for 22 days for a reasonable price would also work. The MSP Airport is $14/night, Hampton Inn and Embassy Suites charge $10/day after 7 days.......any ideas? Thanks!

I would not hesitate to use an extended stay lot ; such as Park 'N Fly. Very safe, easy, and affordable on the wallet.

Park & Fly is right across from the airport. It averages about $12/day. This makes the hotel lots less expensive since they do not charge the $10/day until the 7th day. We have had good luck with keeping our vehicle at the Hilton.

But, what about the initial night's stay on a park and fly rate? At $70-$80, that makes it close to a wash - especially when some of the off-site lots/ramps do offer discounts and coupons.

We plan to use points for our hotel stay, so the hotel will be free, but we would have to pay for parking for the 3 weeks we plan to be away, i.e. $210. (The Park & Fly rate with 7 days "free" parking is around $200!)

Why not ask on craigslist if someone will let you park in their garage or driveway for 22 days for a modest fee? Ideally someone who lives near the light rail that takes you right to the airport?!!!

do you know anyone who lives in Minneapolis or St. Paul? Ask them to let you park your car and take them out to dinner.

Rent a car to get to the airport and drop it. Rent a car on return? Two days of rental might be less expensive than $210.

If you are coming up from Des Moine, I like the car rental idea. Very good. We live in the city and use Park & Fly all the time. A great company! When we go away for a month, we take a limo ( town car) to the airport instead of parking.

Try the Bloomington Super 8. Obviously, Super 8s are not luxurious, but this one is better than most. There are many reviews on TA if you'd like to check it out for yourself. We have left a car there and used their shuttle service with no problems, but this was a couple of years ago, so I can't give you a current rate.
