Branson Landing

We will be staying at the Hilton Promenade Branson Landing over Memorial Day Weekend. What are the must see & do's for this area. Can you walk to the old downtown district from the Hilton very easily?

Hop on one of the trolleys to ride to the downtown area. One route only goes up & down the Landing. The other route goes to the historical downtown. Both are free. If you get a good driver for the downtown route, they will tell you a little history too. Must do's depend on your taste and style. Branson Landing cruises, either the Princess or Lake Queen paddle wheel. Night life includes Ernie Biggs Dueling Piano Bar, Shorty Smalls & Waxy O'Sheas. Great dining options on the Landing and downtown. Some free entertainment is found on the Landing, shops, free water and fire show, stroll the boardwalk, check out the historical downtown including Dick's 5 & Dime. You can Ride the Ducks here but most feel the ride on Table Rock Lake is better. Don't just do things on the Landing/downtown. If you do, you'll miss most of Branson. You'll need to drive to take in the tri lakes region.

Yes you can easily walk to the old downtown district. It's pretty much across the road over some railroad tracks and past the convention center. There's sidewalks the whole way. In addition to lovemycondo's suggestions, I'd recommend Table Rock Dam for a must see. I'd love to stay at the Hilton Landing but have been too cheap to pay the price. Please post a review after your visit.
