Fall folage

We're going to be in Branson on the 5th until Tuesday. Anyone there now who can tell me if there are fall colors?

Just starting to turn. Cold front coming thru this weekend should speed things up. Bring a jacket, temps in the 30's at night.

Was in Branson last weekend. Drove from Branson to Springfield on 160 and saw some trees starting to turn but the colors weren't very vivid. Some trees just had leaves left on the tops of the trees and the lower branches were bare. Drove from Branson to Eureka Springs on Monday. Saw some trees starting to turn. This week's rain and lower temps should help speed things up in regards to the leaves changing. Just bear in mind that some trees are gone (brown leaves or no leaves) due to the drought of this year.

Here now ; drive from Osage Beach, Lake of the Ozarks to Branson was awesome! Trees are at full color and told by locals they are surprised they are so vivid after the dry summer!
