Ganeesha Casita and area(Carricitos)

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to rent a place in the neighbourhood near Haramara Retreat above Carricitos beach. I know Sayulita quite well. How do you walk up there? Is it through Los Muertos? Is there a road? Would it be a walkable route at night?

Thanks for any info.

From the plaza walk south, towards Rollies, and continue to the secondary highway that goes to Punta de Mita. Walk down the highway about 75 yards towards Punta de Mita, take the first right onto the dirt road that leads to Patzcuaro and Patzcuarito. Marking the corner are several signs for accommodations, Haramara, Casa Mis Amores, Casa Otemiti, etc. After approx 200 yards you'll encounter a road coming off to your right, follow that road down towards the beach.

Hold on, Those directions will take you to Haramara but I don't think that the house you're looking for is near Haramara. To get to Carracitos you turn south off of the road that goes to Los Muertos.

To get to Ganesha casita you do not go past follies. You turn right before Rollies and follow the electric poles out to Carricitos beAch.

Casa Carricitos is above the beach and across the valley from Haramara. It is quiet and beautiful there and a half mile from then plaza on a dead end road
