75th Street Brewery

I am coming into town soon and was wondering what the neighborhood is like surrounding the 75th street brewery? Looking at it on Google street view doesn't portray this as the best of areas.

Thanks.

The 75th Street area is also known as the Waldo area. It is mostly known for some fun bar/restaurants such as the 75th Street Brewery, The Well, Lews, Kennedy's etc., But, a busy street (Wornall Rd) of gas stations and fast food restaurants from 75th St to 85th St. But, the general area of 75th and Wornall is pretty popular now with the above mentioned bars.

Further North you'll hit the Brookside area (63rd & Wornall) with neat little shops and restaurant/s bars.

Things get more expensive as you go even further North to the Country Club Plaza area (47th & Wornall area) with very nice restaurants and stores.

Not a bad area at all really, I really don't worry about crime when we are down there. Love 75th Street Brewery, nice people, pretty good food, and good beer.
