Time Change Question - Indianapolis To St. Louis...

Mapquest states Indy to STL is about 4 hours...But - I know a time change is involved.

So, while it is a Physical 4 hours it is 3 hours on the clock...Correct???

If we leave Indy @ 8AM Indy Time...

We should arrive in STL @ 11AM Local Time????

Hanna or No...(a little NE PA lingo for Ya All) :)

With traffic and depending on where in Indy - it could be closer to 4.5-5 hours, but yes, you will gain an hour.

Agree with the 4 1/2 hours estimate. That's how long it took us.

I have no idea what Hanna or No means. Here's a guess: Yes or No? That's funny and thanks for the little lesson.

NEPA(North East PA) - The former"Coal Regions"...

Hanna = Yes

Henna = Yes, But with doubt and not 100% agreement - "Kind Of Sort Of"...

But anyway...We Gain an hour....

PS - From St Louis we move to Louisville KY - We lose that hour - but where?

Try TimeandDate.com or Travelmath.com for any time zone change questions. Both are valueable reference websites that I have bookmarked.

You gain an hour going west and loose it when you return, simple as that no matter what the drive time is.

Assuming that you are driving I-70, you gain the hour at the border between Indiana and Illinois.
