Holiday Inn Express Whitefish vs Kalispell?

We are looking at staying in the area for one night in July. Is there much difference between the Holiday Inn Express in Whitefish vs Kalispell?

Any thoughts on Pine Lodge in Whitefish?

Thanks so much.

The one in Kalispell just opened this year. It's north of Kalispell, alone out in the middle of a field destined for future development. It's within walking distance of the big box stores such as Costco, Lowe's, Border's, Bed Bath & Beyond, etc. If you are interested in chain store shopping, the Kalispell one would be good.

The Whitefish HI is in the town of Whitefish, which is filled with boutique shops, galleries, nice restaurants, brew pubs, all with a quaint appeal. Also, it advertises having a water slide if you have kids, that might make a difference.

The two HI's are only about a 12-15 minutes drive apart.

The Pine Lodge looks great from the outside, but I've never been inside. Check the Hotel Reviews at TA?

I'm sure any of your choices would be fine.
