Looking for cabin or duplex in July

Any thoughts on Madison Arms Resort or Alpine Motel? We'd love to find a small cabin or duplex w/a kitchen in West Yellowstone or Gardiner.

We've decided to add on a couple of days to our trip and thought staying outside the park a couple of nights might be fun. It's last minute so lots of places are taken But any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

We loved our stay at a cabin at Wagon Wheel RV Park and Cabins. www.wagonwheelrv.com

There are about 6 cabins in a wooded, fenced in area, right in town , but clean, quiet, and very convenient. May be too late to book for July, but just a suggestion.

Alpine always gets good marks here, but I've never been able to snag a vacancy there. (I never know til the last minute when I am going!).

Avoid the Bar N Ranch. It is overpriced and overrated.

I stayed in Gardiner last year at this cabin.

It is big, but she also has a one bedroom cabin that used to be a schoolhouse. See below:

Both were immaculately clean and the decor was charming.

I don't know if she would rent the large one for a short period, but we saw several people come and go from the schoolhouse, so I'm sure she is open to renting it for only a few days.

These are located at the top of a ridgeline, so they take a 10 min drive off the highway into Gardiner, but the drive is gorgeous and we didn't mind at all.
