Vegas or Italy (Part 2)

Okay, the consensus was overwhelmingly Italy.

I KNOW this is the vegas forum....but a vast majority of the folks here are nice, and I want YOUR opinion....

ITALY or ENGLAND ??

....and no, I don't normally have this much trouble making up my mind !

Hopefully this won't get zapped for being in the wrong forum !

ITALY, especially if it's for a honeymoon. England's nice and all, but Italy is amazing.

having only been to italy, i would say italy *L*

there's so much to see, even if you're not religous. there's so much history and all the art! and teh cities are soooo different, and you'll never see anything like Venice anywhere else! :) I've been to Milan, Rome, Pisa, Florence & Venice and we loved every bit of it. the architechture is phenomenal. you won't see buildings like this anywhere in North America!

however, if you're really into castles you may enjoy a romp around england more, b/c of the history that country has. i would love love love to be able to afford a trip to travel through the UK. they have so much to see too.

really, if you picked either place, you wouldn't go wrong!

i'm so happy for you. you'll have an awesome time!

never been to england, but i've been to italy twice and it was FANTASTIC! cities i have visited ranked from best to worst (and worst was still fantastic, just not as much touristy stuff that i was interested in):

1. rome (i love roman history and i loved the food and there were so many things to do!)

2. florance (great food, beautiful sights, mecca for art lovers)

3. venice (only spend one day there... ride on a boat and visit the doge's palace and st. mark's square)

4. milan (great food, but not as touristy. great for shoppers, but not me.)

How about Paris or Amsterdam. If they are out of the question I'd go with Italy, but I have no special reason for picking it.
