Any changes lately ?
Food still Good & cheap ?
We always make a stop, used to be first place we went after arriving in LV.
Karaoke ,food fun.
Cousin Vinny as Elvis ..
It is doing very good. They are building a 300 seat restaurant in front that will be available to rent out. They still have the $7.99 steak special. Great BBQ rib restaurant. Full rack of ribs and complete meal for $13.99. They remodeled the casino. It now has wooden floors. Great beers. Karaoke 7 days a week. Metro Pizza. They now own the hotel. Some of the latest slot machines. Great players card. I would say they are doing very well.
Isn't the $7.99 steak special just slightly misleading ?
You have to sign up for a players card and gamble at least $5 to get it. Or, if you don't want to mess with all of that, you can just buy the steak for $12.99
Same old place. Only place I know where I feel like I've smoked 2 packs of cigs in an hour, and I don't smoke
I don't know how the steak special works now but it used to be that no players card was needed. It wasn't advertised and you had to ask for the special. About 10 years ago it was $3.99 and included the steak, baked potato, string beans, a nice house salad, and a large beer brewed there.

Are you quibbling about a US$5, for a high-end steak dinner?
That is so very unlike you - OK, one has to gamble US$5, to save US$5, but what if they win US$500,000? Should they complain about that US$5?
I was just looking at there site. 8 dollars for a chicken fried steak? Sign me up.
I've always wondered how do they make money. They may be the only company still operating on economies of scale because their food is freakishly cheap but is of good quality.
Even a full Peppermill meal will leave you shy of $60+. At Ellis Island you can still get away with $25 and be full.
