Bellagio vs Aria

We have been to Vegas probably 30 times and the Aria and the Wynn are among our favorite places to stay. I just booked 4 nights at the Bellagio for Super Bowl weekend. We have never stayed there and I was thinking we could try something new. Because of Comps we will be staying at an Mlife property but I am already having doubts about Bellagio and am considering switching my reservation to Aria. Any advice is appreciated.

The biggest difference is in the atmosphere of both properties (which you probably know). Bellagio is always crowded and has a very vibrant and energetic atmosphere. Aria is more laid back, and for some even quiet.

Aria has the advantage of being newer, so it has floor to ceiling windows making the rooms brighter, where Bellagio does not. Other than that, I think it comes down to personal preference. Mine is the quieter ambiance of Aria, but of course many are in love with the fountain.

I prefer Aria as well, for the reasons Ktinca laid out. It's a quieter, more modern property. If you can't guarantee a fountain view room, then it's really not worth staying at the Bellagio (IMO). Bellagio has so many tourists and on our last visit (May 2017), I found the hotel to be looking a bit tired. Its definitely in need of a slight facelift. Plus, I like the dining options better at Aria-excellent food at various price points. With the exception of their cafe and buffet, Bellagio really only has fine dining.

You'll be fine at either one--if not, you can always hop on the tram and go visit the other property. Enjoy!

Nothing wrong with Bellagio but I hate it there too crowded too many looky loos wandering around aimlessly. I’ve never stayed there and hopefully never will. I like Aria and do stay there.

We've stayed at Aria 14 times since opening and I've never really found it quiet, dull or boring as at least one poster on here will inevitably chime in. Heck, compared to the public areas at Bellagio, anyplace is quiet. We've stayed at Bellagio and I like some of the restaurants there and we regularly visit Hyde for drinks but the constant flow of people through the casino, the lack of floor to ceiling windows and the more modern decor at Aria have kept us going back there.

The Bellagio beats the Aria for us if for no other reason than the location. My husband and I very much enjoy walking (I've walked from Fremont Street to the Aria), but for us, the Aria is set too far back from the Strip to make a stay there enjoyable. The constant navigation of the sidewalks that try to bring you back into the property, whether you want to go or not, becomes, again for us, tedious. We were comp'd free nights/play/resort credit at both properties in December; you can find us at the Bellagio.

Go with Bellagio, at least after all those trips you can tick it off the I stayed there list. Who knows, you may love it! If not go back to your favorites. It's only 4 nights . Have a great trip!

In my experience, Bellagio's service was miles ahead of Aria's. I'd give Aria's basic room the edge over Bellagio's. I say keep your reservation at Bellagio, so you can experience what was in many ways, a precursor to both of your usual spots, Wynn and Aria.

30 trips to Vegas and never stayed at Bellagio? Definitely put this right! If you're always afraid that it won't be as good as your current preference, you'd never try anything new at all!

Aria is such a lifeless place. No energy.
