Uber, Lyft, Taxi

Hopefully you are traveling with a car seat.

What is the best way to get transfers from the airport to the venetian. - Best is subjective, Uber is probably best cost wise but a cab is straightforward.

You could also get a limo for the experience but it's more expensive - avoid the shuttles at it's poor value for a party of 3 and takes a lot of time.

A car seat is not required on public transit in Nevada. A taxi/cab is public transit. Uber and Lyft are not. They are private vehicles. I would still use a car seat in a taxi with a 2 year old, but that is me. People drive like idiots in Las Vegas. Here are photos I took outside the Linq Casino a week ago Monday. A cab took out a jaywalker.

Geez thanks so much for the info. We are hiring a car from vegas through to San Diego to Anaheim/LA but not in Vegas as we will be walking around.

Would private shuttles / limos have car seats if we prebook?? Cost isnt to much of a issue safety is number 1.

If you end up in a taxi, your instructions are, "Venetian, please. Take Swenson." That's it. Don't say anything like "just take the fastest way." Or you'll end up in the dreaded, "Tunnel".

If money isn't an issue, you can bring your car seat from home. A car seat at a car rental agency isn't cheap, and I wouldn't trust a shuttle or limo company to have the correct seat correctly installed anyway.
