Pre-Trip report to local casino

I have been "abstaining" from gambling as I am saving for a Golden Nugget trip May 31, and a trip again in November. But, the itch (you know what I am talking about) was gettin me. So, with a very small bankroll, I drove the hour to my local Indian casino to get scratched.

The third machine I sat down at was a 2 cent Wild Goose, and a few spins in I get bonus-was playing $2.50 per spin- I choose the bingo option and boom 300,000 credits. Bonus comes again, and another real nice hit. Cashed out at $800! Boy was I happy!

Next I sit at a nickel Pompeii, get bonus. Helmuts and 3X, 5X everywhere. Machine freezes up and handpay $1,574. WOW!

I haven/t had that luck for months and was proud of myself for walking out with the win. Now, I can go blow it in Vegas! LOL! (Seriously, I paid a couple bills too.)

For my fellow slot players- does anyone know what the dude on the Pompeii machine is saying when those bonus coins come up? I can't figure it out!

Good luck to everyone. I love reading this forum!

Love to hear these stories. We won't make it to LV until, at least, the fall. We have 2 nights planned at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi this Sun. & Mon. and can't wait. Hope my luck is as good as yours.

We did a similar thing last summer. My husband had a nice hit at the local Harrah's and we paid off our Home Depot bill. Felt good.

Foxy gave you the skinny on the Pompeii game. It suckers me in frequently.

We're going to our local Indian casino this week, too. It's really nice and they treat us well there, but there is one thing - they are dry except in the restaurants - only soft drinks served while you're gambling - is that the same at Indian casinos all across the country?

Isn't if funny how you have those itches and have to make a practice run for Vegas? Nice win for you!

That was my plan this past Monday. I went to Caesars Indiana on a comped room with a friend just to get away and feed my itch.

No luck for me.....boo hoo. I was hoping for a little extra stash to take to Vegas in June. Darmngold coins would not come up for me, so I did not get to hear the dude say a thing!!!!!

Morning Camille and Sheri et al - I will Hail Caesar for you ! I dind't get to practice either, this weather is not inducive to 2 hour road trips and I really wanted to try out the new Twin Rivers too, actually, I need to stop right there because the gambling rels from columbus are in town this weekend for 2 family events so there may be a roadtrip in my future b4 I leave on Monday ! LOL It's true, it might happen!

And to the ? about beverages, they are sold and encouraged and comped at foxwoods and Mohegan Sun but only until 1 am or so then you have to BYOB
