How to get l/2 price tickets to Mac King/food suggestions

We'll be in Vegas for a wedding on 4/27 and want to spend 4/28 on the strip doing inexpensive things with our two teens. I was going to get 2 for 1 tickets to Dirk Arthur but have heard better reviews of Mac King. Past forums have mentioned getting free tickets with a drink purchase (I assume they could be non-alcoholic) but when I called Harrah's to get more info. they were absolutely no help on telling me if or where I could get l/2 price/discount tickets. They said tickets at the box office are $22.50. Has anyone recently been able to get tickets cheaper at one of the l/2 price outlets or through another source? Please be specific on where I should go to get them so I don't waste a lot of time. I've also heard that hotels have magazines offering discount coupons but would they give me one if I'm not staying in one?

I'm also looking for suggestions on good food at reasonable (under $20) prices for dinner that night. If you know where I could get coupons to lower the price that would be an added bonus.

Can't help you on Mac King, but I would look at Ellis Island if you are looking for a decent meal at a cheap price for your family. I am assuming you are saying $20 a person, so at that level you could also hit many of the buffets and get a good mixture of food for your money.

Purchase the American Casino Guide at buy.com (special price of under $5, including shipping).

Lots of two fer one shows, buffets--also, some freeplay and match play coupons.

For Mac King, there is almost always somebody from Harrah's handing out free-with-drink tickets near the Carnival Court. Yes, all drinks can be make without alcohol, but they will still charge $10 each.

I was in Vegas just a couple of weeks ago and got the drink coupons for Mac King at the info desk right inside the hotel's entrance. This is the entrance on the back side off the strip where you would go to register if you were staying here. I just went up and asked about the coupons and they handed me one. It's good for up to 4 people. Cost was $11.75 with tax. You take the coupon to the theatre and exchange it there. They had great tasting non-alcoholic smoothies. Great deal and very good show. I highly suggest. You may want to read my recent trip report. Look under dianedisney or trip report with teenagers in the box. There is a Cheesecake Factory in the Forum Shops and a California Pizza Kitchen at the Mall also we went to Chipolte on the strip. It is a fast food mexican eatery. Very fresh, very cheap. They're like a subway for mexican food. You go down the line and tell them what you want in your burrito, taco or bowl.
