great deals on Grand Canyon Tours!!

If you are going to Las Vegas, and want a great deal on a bus, plane, or helicoptor tour to the grand canyon, I recomend 202 Concierge. they have a location at the motel 6 where my wife and I stayed when we were in Las Vegas last. (We normally stay at Harrahs, but the town was packed with a convention.) After hitting the tables the 1st night, we decided we needed to plan other activites this trip, as new casinos don't get built from people winning. We stopped at the concierge booth to inquire about short trips from Las Vegas without renting a car, and they told us about the Hoover Dam. We decided on the short 4 hour trip, and passed on the 7 hour one with lunch included. The Dam was great, and they gave us a discount (32.00 instead of 39.00). We had such a great time ,my wife persueded me to try the grand canyon the day after. I was reluctant, as a 6:10 a.m. pick-up seemd a bit early, but as our trip was a birthday present to her, I had a hard time saying no. We got that tour which should have cost 169.00 for only 145.00 per person, and set off exploring the next morning. They picked us up at the hotel, and we stopped at the Hoover Dam again (only for 20 minutes though), and headed to the west rim. We were going to go to the National Park at the South Rim, but was told we wouldn't be back untill 11 p.m., and I did want to get a little blackjack in. The West Rim was incredible. We both had a great time, enjoyed lunch there, and the trip back. our driver was very informative, and was quick to answer questions before we even got a chance to ask them. I wish we would have had time to do some shows, or dance clubs, because the concierge had some great suggestions, and packages for those also. Again, call 202 Concierge...they are great, and treated us like gold. The number I have is 702-604-4596.

A Motel 6 with a "concierge booth?" ROFLMAO- sounds like it might be more like a huckster ( named Spike) trolling the lobby with a cellphone...

LOL Firsttimer- his most recent post today is recommending the same company for a "Club Tour" and the e-mail Spike provides for this "highly recommended " company just happens to start with his name..

I guess when you operate a "Concierge Service" out of a Motel 6 lobby , you have to find a way to advertise for free- doesn't sound like a first tier firm to me- maybe he hangs around the lobby there and answers the pay phone when it rings eh?

He must have gone to the same business school as the guys from Orange County who are touting the Platinum...

FYI >>>>Maybe it wasnt a great Idea...but it was worth a shot. I have been in The Grand Canyon Industry for the last 12 years, and recently ventured off to start my own company. I DO have a concierge booth in the Motel 6, and am opening up 2 more in small hotels also. It wasnt the best way to market the company, but unless you want to fund an adverising campeign for me it was worth a try. I will tell you this...If I had a dollar from every person I've sent on a helicopter, Plane, or Bus tour who enjoyed themselves, I'd be retired right now.

Thanks for the honesty, but people are too long on the forum to be taken in .

Get real, and I stress real ,people who you send on tours to post reviews. If you get lucky and you get a regular poster with A HISTORY,to post a positive review and it wil be worth a lot of business. However you have no idea who a potential TA poster will be ,so treat everybody as well as you can ,and if you get a complaint try and satisfy the cusomer there and then not say "they are going home tomorrow, stuff them"How a company deals with complaints is an acid test.

Good luck in your new business.

Customers always come first, no matter what day they are going home. Being at a location 12 hours a day, I don't have the ability to escape before my customers return to their room, so I try and only deal with companies who provide the customer care that I try and provide myself. Do you get bumps in the road at times? of course, but again, the way I treat these guests guarantees my longevity at this location. Thanks for the words of luck, and I'm sure we'll cross paths here again.
