Baby kicked out of Sports Book

It was almost ten p.m. an we were sittingin the TI sportsbook on Friday night. The "pit boss" gets on the mike and tell the people to remove the baby from the sports book, not once, but three times. I've played in the sports books for a long time and this is a first. But then again, I don't recalll having seen a child in the sports book.

New policy or old?

No, this is not an anti baby troll.

I still don't understand why people take kids to Vegas at all!!

But maybe there is an ordinance that people under 18 can't be in that sort of environment after 10. Just a guess....

I didn't think children were allowed to be in a sportsbook at all.

If you are not 21 you are not allowed to remain in a gaming area. The Sports book definitely qualifies as a gaming area. This policy is a few minutes newer than the policy keeping Al Capone and Bugsy Seagal out of the casinos.

The sports book is a gambling area. By law, you cannot be in a gambling area in Las Vegas if you are under 21. The people with the baby were breaking both the law and the casino's own rules. Therefore, they were asked to leave. Q.E.D.

Either that, or the baby got all red-faced and wouldn't stop crying about getting cheated when there was a brief interruption during the video simulcast of the fifth from Saratoga right when his horse crossed the finish line. Same thing happened to Donald Trump a few years ago.

Jeez, what is this world coming to? Next thing you know they'll be telling me I can't share my scotch with my baby in the casino!

It's no surprise that they kicked the baby out. What does seem odd is that they made the PA announcement 3 times. You would think after the first announcement the "pitt boss" and/or security would be paying the folks a personal visit.

Damn snot-nosed punk deserved it too....

Flashing a big wad of dough, talking smack to all the regulars, getting teething crackers all over the videos screens.

Heck, the kid couldn't even place his trifecta wager right, and started bawling whenever the clerk corrected him.
