What are your specific dates and what is your total budget? Need to know in order to give best advice.

There's a fair few people who post regularly on this forum who believe that Vegas isn't for kids at all and are quite vocal about this, so get your hard hat ready and maybe be prepared for some strong comments!

Flamingo, NYNY, Aladdin or Paris would be a good starting pont.

All byt (NYNY) are mid strip.

Suggest trying the Orleans, big rooms and plenty for the kids to keep them occupied.

I would second the Orleans.

It's not fancy but it is nice.Lots of stuff to do with the kiddies.

Bowling, movie theatre, kids pool, and if the mood were to strike, there's a daycare to dump the kids at to gamble and get crazy.

And be prepared to be called all sorts of things for asking this question.( i.e. troll, irresponsible, unfit mother/father, e.t.c.)

Just ignore it. You're kids will love Vegas.

And if you really want to stir things up ask about the "$20 trick".

I agree with Orleans, just off strip. It also has an arcade.

South Point has the same features about 5 miles south of Mandalay Bay. The difference is it's newer. Very clean.

If you want on strip, then maybe Luxor. Imax screen and more.

MGM and Mandalay Bay have great pool areas.

Doubt you can get all in one room. You'd have to call each hotel. Never tried 5 in a room.

One hotel that others have said is getting renovated, which always seems to have kids:

a $20 tip is not a trick

Hotel employees like to be TIPPED, they don't like to be tricked.

Once again, an appeal for an official name change for the stupid, annoying term "$20 trick"

All this time I thought the front desk girl does a trick for only $20. :-)

For a family of five, you might want to rent a timeshare suite at either Polo Towers, Fairfield Grand Desert, Marriott Grand Chateau, or HGVC Flamingo.

If you don't need to be on the strip, then the Grandview next to South Point would be a very good choice.

Full kitchens, living rooms, etc allow people to stretch out.

Mac King has two afternoon shows (1 and 3pm) at Harrahs.

Its a comedy/magic show that the kids might enjoy.

A day trip to Hoover Dam and/or Grand Canyon is good (if you take the bus it's a very long day--the kids might get bored).
