Hi

Stayed there at easter and had an old room. For the price i would give it a 7. If you are getting a good price I would say stay but if rates are high I would shop around.

I think it is usually a good value. The buffet truly horrible, the sportsbook good, VP excellent, They have some good BJ games, table minimums low, the casino has an OK feel to it. The spa is priced right, the pool decent. I miss Elvis.

I think after Monte Carlo (usually-not now with the construction) it is one the best values - a much nicer property than the mid-tier strip properties.

I had a $99 3 night stay over the 4th of July last year. The bed was horrible, but the room was worth the money.

I was not in a refurbished room, so I'd assume that those beds are more comfortable.

I don't like the 1-10 scale, it reminds me too much of school.

If I had to give it something it would be a C+.

That doesn't remind me of school at all.

Stayed there twice in the last two years for conferences. Did not like it at all. I would give the room a 4. They'll ask you if you want the remodeled rooms for an extra $50 a night. Not worth it to me.

A 5 as I would only sleep there if I had a great deal!

Very standard and retro room. The room we stayed in didn't appear to have changed since the 60's, but it was comped so there you go.

Very small bathroom. Nothing special AT ALL about the room we stayed in other than it made you feel like you stepped way back in time. Oh and the hallway to our room smelled <reeked, actually> of pot...lol.

IMO the worst thing about the Hilton is the location....very isolated. The hotel/casino couldn't make up for the isolation. JMO

Give us more details - what rate are you looking at and where else are you considering. We could compare hotels for you if we knew which other ones you're considering. I've stayed at the Hilton - didn't hate it, but we were staying in a suite for almost nothing. The location isn't walkable, but the taxi rides are easy. The pool is pretty plain, but you can find a seat. The snack bar by the pool is very affordable. Just depends on your budget.

I stayed there with the $50 per night coupon in the ACG.

It's not in there this year. I wouldn't spend more than $50 for the Hilton. Avoid the buffet. It is not worth the price. And it takes almost an hour to walk to your room from the front casino entrance.
