I Need a good map of Vegas.

Any recommendations?

I only have a Rand Mcnally Can/US atlas and the map of Vegas in it is a bit crap. Should I buy a map of Vegas online or would my Avis rental car supply that sort of thing?

My memories a little foggy, but when I rented from Budget last year, I'm pretty sure they handed me a map for my route from Orange County, Ca to Palm Springs. Don't hold me to it though.

Why not call the closest Avis and ask what they can do for you?

Pick up one of the free tourist magazines they usually have pretty good maps in them. You can find them all over the place in hotels, rental car places etc.

Hope this helps.

What's On has a decent map of Vegas-to scale. On one side it has the strip and downtown. On the other side it has the greater LV area. If you need a more detailed map of Vegas- use the maps at the front of the Vegas telephone book- it is as detailed as you can get-down to streets that are only one block long.

You can get a nice map here but its not the best for driving navigation: http://www.visitlasvegas.com/vegas/index.jsp

I also got a really good map Vegas through AAA. You might want to try CAA to get one if you are a member. I did get a map from Alamo on my last car rental but its only value was for help in returning the car.

As recommended by leo21, if you are a member of the Canadian Automobile Association, you can pick up a pretty good Las Vegas Vicinity Guide Map for free. It has all of the casinos listed on it, as well as a detailed strip section map, a general Las Vegas Map, and a Southern Nevada map. I use it when I go and it's great! I hope that helps!

If you know already where you plan on going you can go to Yahoo or Google and use that to plan out your routes. Other option is to pay the extra $5 for a GPS in your rental car.
