Hi Everyone. I need your prayers.

Well, I went for my mammogram the other day and they found a small nodule. They don't think it looks like cancer but that's what they said about my other breast and it turned out to be cancerous. Anyways, I have tickets to be in Las Vegas in August but am afraid to pack my suitcase. My doctor is in Italy so my biopsy can't be done until July 20th. I have a lot of faith, a beautiful family, and wonderful friends, and I think of all of you as freinds I haven't met yet. I realize that there are so many people who are in deeper trouble but I'm a little frightened about what the pathologist report will say. I just hope it's benign and if it was cancer, that it didn't travel to my lymph nodes. I'm sorry if I depressed anyone. I just needed to tell you all because it's such a frightening road to travel. God bless all of you, your loved ones, and may all of you stay healthy and well.

Sincerly, Lucia

Well my heart goes out to you, while I have never been in your position I got a front row seat when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003 (she's been cancer free for 3 years now. ) It's tough but seeing that you have been through it once before I'm sure you are a strong person. Here's to hoping that it's not cancer!

Will say a prayer also. Keep us posted. If I were you, I wouldn't wait for my doctor to come back to get a biopsy.

Lucia,

I have a tumor on my left femur and the wait for all of the testing and the trips to the oncologist were grueling-so, I know how you feel.

Worrying is normal but, it will not change the outcome. My news was good and yours will be, too. Try to stay strong and know the we are all praying for you. My friends and family have a prayer chain that extends from New Jersey to Hawaii. We always joke that its the Hawaiians that get the job done! It has worked so far for my friend with brain cancer and my nephew in the Army so, it will work for you! Were on it! And I agree with Dr. Vegas-pack that suitcase, honey-your off to Vegas!!!!!!!!!!!!
