Hotel Value - Paris, Caesars, Bellagio - June 29-July3

I have stayed at Paris many times and think it could be time for a change -liked the hotel, pool area not too bad but could be better since it closes at 5pm.

Goal of this trip is to show my fiancee Vegas - she has never been. It's going to be very HOT - so my question is: what is the best hotel value where we can enjoy Vegas, hang at the pools most of the day, and stay in a classy hotel? I know Vegas enough to plan eating, drinking, and nightlife events - hotel rooms & pools are key for this decision.

Paris Package = $576

Caesars Package = $660

Bellagio = $896

Also is Bellagio worth the extra $300plus for a standard room?

Please help...

I would go with Caesars. I have stayed at Paris and liked it as well, but agree that the pool is not the best. And no, I do not think Bellagio is worth $300 more.

My personal opinion? If you want your fiance to fall in love with Vegas, I would suggest staying at the Bellagio. While I have never been in the actual room, I've spent a lot of time in the common areas of the hotel and it's stunningly beautiful. And the pool looks gorgeous! I know it's an extra $300, but I think it will be well worth the price. Also, if I could make another suggestion without butting in too much...I wonder if you have ever looked into staying at Treasure Island? I have stayed there once before (two years ago) and will be staying there again when I go back to Vegas on 7/3. Last year, I made the mistake of staying at the Mirage instead, and I was thoroughly disappointed. I think the rooms are every bit as beautiful as the Bellagio, but that's just my opinion! Well, I hope this helps! I'm wishing you and your fiance a great vacation!!

My first time out there I stayed in the Centurion tower in Caesar's.

We had a great room, strip view with a jacuzzi tub. The pool at Caesar's is great, and so was the service.

If the difference is $300 between there and a standard at the Bellagio, why not stay at Caesars and use the 300 to see about an upgrade?

<<Is it worth the extra $300?>>

Well, it's only $236 more than CP, over 4 nites, that's less than $60 a night. In my opinion it is worth it. Especially for what you're looking for. I have never regretted spending a little extra at Bellagio.

Go with Paris or Bellagio.

Caesars is old and smokey. The cocktail waitresses were rude and most likely had grandchildren. The traffic from the Forum shops was constant through the casino. Our room wasn't cleaned until late in the day so we didn't feel we could relax in there until about 5:00 or later each day. It took over an hour to check in. I will not stay there again.

If you want to impress her, the Venetian or the Bellago are the places. Be aware you will pay a premium for the luxury. The new Wynn Las Vegas is also an option, but I have not yet seen it.

OK - thanks - one more to throw in the mix - Mandalay Bay - not The Hotel - Mandaly hotel section - any good? - I hear the pool area is the best and the rates are a great deal - only concern - is it too far from the strip to enjoy Vegas?

I would go with Caesars as it is well worth it and if you want to impress your girlfriend. Caesars has been completely renovated from the casino, restaurants, rooms, and the pool and it is fantastic. Caesars use to be old and dark but NOT anymore. Celine and Elton are making them a ton of money and they are putting it back into their property. I love Paris and Bellagio as well but if a pool is important and also trying to show fiancee Vegas and for the money I would go for Caesars!!!

Yes, the Mandalay Bay has a great pool area ...and a wave machine. But it is not center strip ...which I recommend.
