Taking pictures is forbidden because it breaks performers' concentration and they might get injured. I wouldn't try using your camera, you might be escorted out of the theater.

Treat it like you are in a theater.

You cannot take pictures in any of the bigger shows. In fact at the Celine show they will take your camera and return it to you after the show. I was taking a picture of my girlfriend and myself at the Beatles Love before the show and they were all over me.

Sure you can probably get away with concealing it in a purse, but you can't take pics =)

We took pictures of the inside of the theatre before the show started but for obvious reasons would never take pictures during the show. Wouldn't want to make someone get hurt.

In my experience it's usually ok to take pictures before the show but after you get to your seat. We have always asked before doing so and were always told it was ok as long as the camera did not even come out of my wifes purse during the show.

Have done this at Lance Burton, Spamalot, O and La Reve.

The rules have NOTHING to do with people getting hurt, although that sounds good. Much more of a business proposition at work here, as Spike 3X suggests.

I plead guilty to taking pics during Mamma Mia and got a major stare-down from security.

I am going to Mystere in November, do they also sell the DVD for the show? If they do, does anybody roughly know how much it is?

They are showing a DVD on the Cirque web site called "Mystery of Mystere"...but it looks like a documentary and not a DVD of the show. From what I can tell they don't have a straight show DVD. They do have the CD if you like the music....you can get this at the show shop across from the theater.

It's a great show....I hope you like it!
