Need Help!!!

Ok I've got a strip view room booked at Ti for Jan 2 for 8 nights at $189 a night or Planet Hollywood is now having a promo for $119 on weekdays and $149 on weekends. With that promo there's a $19 round trip fly back certificate. What is the best deal and best place . Opinions please!!!!!

Watch the fine print on the fly back certificates. Usually you have to book through their TA and stay there again. Not a good reason to switch, IMO.

However, I would choose PH myself, It's one of my favorite mid-priced hotels, and I prefer the casino and amenities to TI.

Of course it's totally up to you, but $500 buys a lot of food and at least 10 minutes of fun gambling!

Personally...I'd go for the cheaper rate....and forego the strip view....but that's just me! I've never stayed at either place, so can't help as far as rooms go. I'd rather increase my bankroll with the money saved....lol =)

FYI, it's pretty darned easy (no $20 trick needed) to get a Strip view for free at PH.

8 nights is a long time! If you're going to stay that long you definitely want a nice hotel. I would take PH over TI in a second especially at the lower price.

While I haven't stayed at PH, I have stayed at Aladdin & TI and would go with PH for the savings, for sure. I've always gotten a strip view room there and I think the views are better at that part of the strip, anyway. Does the PH deal include anything else? i think the last one I remember reading included a discount for shopping there too. Not too shabby.

Either options sounds good, though. Have a blast regardless of your choice!

I've stayed both places and for the difference, I would pick PH. The rooms seem a little bigger to me at PH and the bathrooms are wonderful, european soaking tub and separate shower. I do like TI though, new beds are really comfy and location was good. I would stay again at either place. If I chose the deal at PH, I would check out how the $19 flight certificate works and if it is something you can use from where you live. We got into something like that one time and we had to fly on another airline to get to where the flight we got for free was leaving so it ended up costing about the same as buying our own tickets to start with. (Does that make sense?)

Whatever, you decide have a wonderful trip.

Well if the strip view is important I would stay at TI. I have stayed at both but the strip view at TI is one of the best. I do get strip view rooms at Planet Hollywood and I like the property. The strip view at PH is normally of the fountains. I will be going back in December to see the new rooms at PH. Good luck.

The round trip fly back certificate has to be booked within 6 months, through their travel agency, and you must stay at PH again. I just spoke with the reservations agent and they gave me the details. You won't be guaranteed an upgraded room, because all the rooms won't be completley upgraded until sometime next year, so it's a gamble what type of room you might get.. Still haven't made my mind up yet.

FWIW, the old rooms are perfectly comfortable. I've been in them twice this year and always really enjoyed my stay. That's a great savings and a better, more central location on the Strip. personally, I couldn't justify spending more to stay at TI in this case.
