Few Questions re: Wynn vs Venetian

How does the Wynn Resort room compare to the Venetian Bella Suite? ALlo if you play in either casino is the minimum slots there a dollar or do they even have quarter machines? I know you can always play elsewhere, but I was just curious if you had to be a high roller to play at either place. Which resort has better amenities or are they equal by comparison?

Those are good questions Pattyg. I am wondering about the Venetian, myself. I've stayed at the Wynn and they do have quarter machines. Of course, I love the Wynn. It's over the top whimsical elegance...and no, you don't have to be a high roller to play at either place. I did not have any desire to gamble at the Venetian. For some reason, it is not very inviting to me, as the Wynn is. They pump too much scent into the air.

If you go to the Wynn web site, you can view the suites at all the levels. The resort suite is very nice and all the suites' windows are floor to ceiling and wall to wall. The bed was the best I've slept in and the bathroom was quite large. It's a very luxurious place.

both casinos have slots from penny upwards, you don't have to be a high roller (although it would be fun to be one). as far as amenities go, you need to decide which are the most important to you and choose accordingly. Look at the web sites for both of the resorts.

Wife and i just returned from Wynn last week ..And we also stayed at the Venetian in Sept.

At the Venetian we stayed in the Venezia concierge bella suite

and at Wynn we stayed in the Tower salon suite in suite 5003

Wynn tower suite' by far is the one we preferred . And yes fully Compt.

And yes they have from a Penny to $500 slot's

And NO you don't have to be a high roller to enjoy yourselve;s

And wynn have the better ameneties

And you can't go wrong, with either resort you choose to stay at.

Thank you for your reply. The Tower Suite at Wynn is not available in January- only the Resort room. I'm not sure how that would compare with the Venetian Bella Suite, but right now I'm leaning towards Venetian , as they have queen beds while the Wynn only offers full size in their double rooms. It's a tough decision, but I have a little more time to decide.

Wynn is by far the better of the 2. Wynn is more luxuries and better amenities and the staff is fantastic. I love playing there and I am not a high roller. I had a lot of fun on the penny machines. They have nickles, quarter and upward. You get the same curious treatment by CW no matter where you are playing. Some casinos only cater to the high rollers but not there.

Venetian is OK but it is not the Wynn.

You can't go wrong at either.

Have a great time in whatever you decide.

I've played nickel video poker at each and got drink service too. Okay, so they weren't running to serve me, LOL. but I tipped average and the drinks kept coming.

Thank you all for your responses. Seems like the service at Wynn is far superior to the Venetian. I suppose my husband and I can sleep in a double bed or the other option would be for us to get a king and have our 21 year old son sleep on a rollaway. Something to think about. I appreciate all the feedback from people who participate in this forum. It is so valuable when planning a trip.

I've stayed at both the Wynn and Venetian. I don't agree that Wynn is that much better than Venetian, especially since the Venetian (original Venetian) recently renovated their rooms.

Wynn is elegant, but its resort room is just an enlarged hotel room--I think the (renovated) Venetian Bella suite is nicer.

But you can't go wrong with either choice.
