Monorail

Does anyone know exactly where the monorail station for Paris?Bally's is. I checked maps and it is vague. Any directions from the lobby of the Paris would be greatly appreciated.

thank you

I use the Monorail every time I go to Las Vegas. I always get the One-Day unlimited pass. The maps are actually very helpful. Go to the Monorail website. The hotels in the vicinity of each stop are listed in groups.

There is a Bally's/Paris station. Once you exit the train, the signage is great. For Paris, just go to Bally's. Bally's and Paris are connected. So, you can easily walk through Bally's to get to the Paris lobby.

It's pretty easy, you would head towards the buffet and go through the group of shops that connect Bally's and Paris. Once in Bally's you follow the signs which will lead you towards the right- through some shops and a food court type area.

The monorail runs behind the hotels. We caught it by walking through Bally's and walking out a back door.

where do I walk to in order to catch the monorail at the MGM Grand Station from the corner of The Strip and Tropicana? It seems like a good distance further along Tropicana according to the map that I have.

thanks.

There is not a problem going from Tropicana to the Monorail entrance in MGM. The problem is navigating through the MGM! That place is like a maze! I have ALWAYS got lost trying to get to the Strip from within MGM. But, this thread is about the Monorail.

If you're entering from the strip, just keep walking toward the back of the hotel as if you're going to the parking garage. you'll go up a couple of steps at the point that the connector hall goes south towards Paris, and then you'll go down an escalator to a level below the casino. Just keep walking through that tunnel/corridor, and it will eventually take you to the monorail. With the possible exception of the MGM Grand, this station is probably the furthest from the Strip.

The easiest eay in MGM is to take the escalator near the main lobby down to the shops (by the Fat Tuesday) and follow the signs to the entrance.

This doesn't run to downtown yet does it? I know at one time they were planning this.

Nope...doesn't run downtown. As of now it stops down by the Sahara.

neilkrog...Jack & Sally are correct on how to get there from the lobby of Paris. It's an easy walk. Just a note...before you head through the food court area, and by the pool in Bally's....you will be going down an escalator to get the food court area. Just follow the overhead signs once you get into Bally's from Paris walkway.

And wear comfortable shoes...you will probably walk further between the strip and the monorail than you would have just walking from hotel to hotel along the strip!

But you do get a great view of the back end of hotels from the monorail, plus it goes around the golf course of the Wynn, which is pretty spectacular!
