Celeb Spotting

Hi,

I am going to Vegas in just under 2 weeks, would love to see some celebs about. Just wondering if anyone has seen any celebs about and where?

I saw the man from Flip this House in Ceasar's. I saw a whole bunch of movie stars at the Spice Girls concert, but they were far away.

I can't believe no one has mentioned this yet. I was headed through the Imperial Palace a few weeks ago, and there in the pit, not playing, but dealing cards were lot's of real famous celebrities. Some were even back from the dead. Elvis, John Belushi and Marilyn Monroe. Debbie Harry, Aretha Franklin, Prince and even Dolly Parton.

linda: forgive my offensive perspective, but you would be much, much better served knowing how to spell Caesars than being transfixed with some "stars" who are so far away you can't see them. Or come to the market where I shop and see them in their sweatshirts and no make-up. Some nice, some not. Just like the people at your market. Except for Brittany (sp.?), who is a creature of people like your's adulation.

Are you kidding Un???? Why don't you get a life and stop judging what others like. It simply amazes me that someone asks a question of interest to them and they have to deal with this bulls^it. I don't care how people spell. I have a laptop and sit on my couch and miss type occasionally from having it on my lap. Who cares????? You and Bridge must be related. I'm so sure your tough in the real world. Some how I doubt it.

DH always ends up playing craps w/ celebs late night at Caesars...Tom Arnold, Dr. J.

Funniest celeb sighting was about 15 years ago at Sahara all night cafe late (you know, $2.99 steak & eggs or something like that)...we saw the guy who played Carlton on Fresh Prince w/ his parents or something. Were surprised to see him in a dive like that!

Otherwise, it does seem that the Palms brings in the young & famous; any "hip" (re: expensive & difficult to get into) club: Pure, Rain, LAX, Tao...check out the after hours clubs, too.

sorry asti, I have no knock on typos. My point re: "celebrity fixation" at the expense of reality stands, but yours is also well taken. Like my mom always said: "if you don't have something nice to say..." So best of luck to all those who are so inspired by seeing some person who was on a sitcom in the 1980's. I will heed your take and not voice comments that may insult a sad, misguided poster. :-)

I am a barfly and I have seen and talked to some interesting celebs while sipping a few at the downtown lounges/bars.

Al Pacino in '02 was fun. Kenny Rogers in '05 and and a few others.

I have never treated them any different than any other human being. Never asked for autographs or fawned over them. They put their pants on like evey other living beathing soul.

Perhaps the few posters on here who are naysayers and uppity uppities are just jealous. Maybe the celebs run from them thinking they are beggars or porn slappers.
