We are going to be in Las Vegas the beginning of December and are toldthat is when the rodeo people are there. Is there an actual rodeo, if so where. Exactly what does that mean. Thanks.
Hi - this is like the "superbowl" of rodeos and is held in Las Vegas every year at the beginning of december. This year it runs from the 3rd to the 12th. It is held on the campus of the University of Nevada - I think it is called the Thomas and Mack Center.
It is an actual rodeo and competition is held in several events - bull riding, calf roping, steer wrestling etc.
Yes sir, we have a rodeo here in December called the National Finals Rodeo. All the male cowboys wear huge belt buckles we call tombstones for their dead genitalia just below.
Well, whatever. Anyway tickets to NFR are tough to come by. You could try a web search, but they are normally sold out at the previous year's rodeo. Rooms will be available, just somewhat more expensive. If you could possibly delay until the second week, room rates drop like Ashlee Simpson's career.
The National Finals is a huge deal in the "rodeo world." It's fun if you've never been to a professional rodeo.
I can't believe you didnt know what a rodeo was!!!
