Tracey Suite at Bally's

Hello eveyone!!!!

I am so excited I just booked our stay yesterday at BALLY'S! My question is, has anyone stayed in the Tracey suite? Is it worth the extra charge? That is the room we booked, it has a sunken tub. If anyone has any information, will you please share it with me?! Thanks to everyone!

Have a GREAT weekend!

I have stayed at Bally's a couple of times, once in a room with a sunken tub, but I've never heard of the "Tracey suite." I'd be interested to know what it is.

Don't know about Tracey Suite, but I've stayed at Bally always in the north tower and all my rooms have been very nice with good housekeeping services provided.

Please keep in mind that Bally's is a very old hotel, so what was considered a "suite" back then might not even be on the radar screen now. We walked past a "suite" at Bally's once, and I don't know which suite it was (that is if it had a name), but it had a sunken living room area. It was nothing I'd pay a lot extra for.

Now, if it was a jacuzzi tub that would be very nice since your feet and legs get so tired from all the walking, but just a "sunken tub" - I wouldn't pay extra, the rooms at Bally's are so large. Just my opinion.

Can you give us square footage, what amenities it has?

I think this might be the room you're talking about. It is very nice (I've stayed in it twice). I would pay a little extra to stay in it again.

Hmmm... that looks just like the room we stayed in except it didn't have jets in the tub (but was still great for soaking sore feet and legs!) and it wasn't one of the renovated rooms. Had an AWESOME view, though. And it was giant.

Okay Thanks eveyone! Here is the information that I have found out directly from the hotel. The Tracey Grand suite is on the South Tower. It is a very old suite. Nothing that I am going to pay extra to stay in.

Have a great day!

minmurphy, When is your trip? Let us know how the room is and most important - take pictures and post them! I had never heard of the Tracey Suite. Would love to see it.

I just clicked on the link that was posted for the grand suite and apparently this is the room that we were given in the South Tower just this last week. The picture does it way more justice than it deserves! The room is HUGE, but it seemed very dated and kind of shabby. The bathroom is to die for and was a special treat, but we requested to be moved the next day due to the fact that the bank of elevators was near and we vibrated all night. We moved to a renovated room in the North Tower and were much more pleased with a smaller room with an excellent view of the Ballagio fountains.
