Wednesday morning we again enjoyed coffee and snacks in our room and headed back to the casino at MGM and NYNY for some more play. I enjoyed the MGMs Bloody Marys. Drink service at NYNY was very poor. We found “All That Glitters” slots . . . they were fun! Again, hubby had better luck than I . . . but oh well.

DH grabbed another beef sandwich before heading to the pool that afternoon. I later got a pork and cabbage sandwich and a bag of chips at ‘Wichcraft. That was an EXCELLENT sandwich. ($11.85) The service here is better than most of the deli-style places . . . very cordial and helpful.

Out at the pool we enjoyed the sunshine and clear blue skies again. It was windy again this day with a high of 70 F. Felt much warmer basking by the pool.

About 4:30 that afternoon we again boarded the Deuce for the trip to Bill’s for the 5 p.m. Big Elvis show. Once again . . . he did NOT disappoint. He had another performer with him (can’t remember his name for the life of me) who did Conway Twitty and Roy Orbason songs. He’s every bit as good as Big Elvis . . . just different music. We enjoyed the show so much we decided to stay and watch the 6:30 show as well. Oh . . . a round of drinks at this lounge was only $14. Spent a bit of time at the roulette wheel at Bill’s while we waited . . . not a good decision. But . . . I got a “free” drink. (haha).

After the second show we walked up to Marguaritaville for supper. We’d had drinks there before, but had never eaten and had never seen “the show.” We only waited about 5 minutes to be seated. We enjoyed the music, show and food. Service was very good. Hubby had a barbequed bacon cheeseburger and a beer. I had the coconut shrimp and wine. ($48.99) That is the BEST coconut shrimp I have EVER had . . . fabulous. In fairness, I do have to comment that my vegetables and mashed potatoes were not piping hot when they arrived, but they weren’t terrible, either.

The wind had died down some, so we did get to see a Bellagio fountain show. I could have watched more . . . but hubby was ready to gamble!

Arriving back at MGM, we sat down at the slots again. We weren’t doing well there . . . and never saw a cocktail server. Enough was enough. We had intended to stop by the Zuri lounge for a nightcap before heading up to bed . . . but it was closed for some apparent electrical repairs. Another disappointment . . . we like to end our stay there. So instead we moved back to video BJ and had better luck there . . . both in play and with drinks. Since I couldn’t have my Zuri martini(s) . . . I had casino martinis instead. Very good . . . generous with the olives :) .

After a walk through the MGM gift shop it was time to pack up for an early flight home :( .

Hubby didn't really care to go to Marguaritaville. He knew I love coconut shrimp and can't get it around here . . . so he went for me. Ended up, he says it was the highlight of his trip!

I am not a fan of coconut shrimp but my wife is. I will tell her your comments and perhaps she will give them a try.

Thanks for your Trip Report. I have enjoyed reading it.

Seven seperate parts! That is sooooooooo 2006. The new 2007 "pc" way to post TRs is to include chapters under the same thread. Have mercy on people like me who read TRs using a blackberry while taking a 2 hour train ride home from work (tonite).

I hope you enjoyed your trip........it will take me a long time to find the answer ;-)
